As the shaking stop

Last night, i was awoken by an earthquake of 5.5 magnitude, it was 2.40 am, next to me was Muezza (my pet cat) puzzled, unlike her, i was not, i guess im use to it..

An earthquake... 

The earth was still shaking, but i didnt move, i dint budge, just lying there, on my bed, staring at the ceiling, not a single movement. Slowly and faintly I uttered Allah huakbar a few times in attempt to make a small Adthan call. I was not shocked, nor was i scared. I just figures that was the correct thing to do. 

As the shaking stop, i immediately went back to sleep. 

Hmm, i wonder what if the earthquake was stronger? if i didnt wake up? What if the house collapse burying me underneath. Will my yesterday sins be forgiven? Will my life sin be forgiven? 

And all those 'if' and 'will'. Nevertheless, none of this thought came into my mind last night, because... 

As the shaking stop, i immediately went back to sleep.

Cerita semalam

It was 11.35 in the morning, ketika aku sedang berada di dalam kelas pharmacology. Aku mndapat berita org yg dipertanggungjawabkan membuat khutbah hari ini tidak dapat hadir. Maka, aku pun mula memberi dan membalas text masage di hadapan lecturer yg sedang mengajar! :p

Setelah melihat system redundancy yg aku cipta semasa membuat jadual khutbah gagal, maka terpaksalah aku mengakurkan diri

11.50, kelas tamat, bergegas aku ke library, mencari khutbah yg sesuai utk dibaca
12.15, khutba berjaya di keras tiru kan
12.30, khutbah delivery

Alhamdulillah, despite being very3 unprepared, not to mention UNDER-QUALIFIED, i manage to pull it off, only and only with the permission of Almighty Allah :)
It was a rare opportunity indeed, and im glad Allah choose me

After finishing friday prayer, bro Assad approaches me

Assad: Br. Aidil, i actually always have my backup khutbah in case of such thing happen, but this time, i want you to do it, u have been scheduling people in charge for khutbah, it wont be fair if u dont do the khutbah isnt? :)

Alhamdulillah, it have been quite a while since my last post, hmm i guess this semester has done a very good job diverting me from this keybord written parcthment, ha!

Yet despite this utter, overwhelmingly busy semester; i should not neglect all those exciting things we learn (and do).

Windfarm

Setelah 2 tahun++ berada di Palmy, akhirnya berjaya juga aku smpai ke Te Apiti windfarm (biasanye bg manusia2 yg melawat palmy, windfarm ni la main attraction). Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah for allowing me to buy this Toyota Carolla dan mampu la aku nak berjalan2 dan merayap skit ke kebun angin tersebut. :)

Akhirnya,tidak perlu lagi aku berbasikal bersama gumboots dan overall ke Large Animal Teaching Unit.

Moga, aku akan menggunakan kereta ini di jalan Mu ya Allah :)

So as the lecturer continue talking about paraparesis clinical signs caused by meningitis cases in horses, then a student ask

student: how do you treat them?

Lecturer: Well, probably God that cured them, what vet really did actually, only gave them bunch of drugs, and then claim that we treated them

Ladang Kuda

Berhari hari aku pikir utk mencari ladang kuda untuk practical work aku
Sehinggalah satu hari, jemaah dari Malaysia smpai di marhalah ku, setelah berbual dgn mereka, rupa2nya salah seorng dari mereka merupakan seorng penuggang kuda. Dia aktif dalam perlumbaan kuda endurance di Malaysia
Dia janji utk mencari kan aku satu ladang kuda di Malaysia utk aku selesaikan practical work, dan juga berjanji utk mengajarku cara menuggang kuda ikut sunnah rasulullah saw... :)

Hitchike

Hari ini tamat lah practical work aku utk dairy farm

I hitchiked to Tauranga and stay in backpackers for one nite bfr i continue my jurney to palmy tomorrow

While hitchhiking, i met with a driver called Tom, we talked bout a lot of stuff along the way, then until one point

Tom: so u muslim dont eat pork, what else u dont eat?

Me: well, basicly we eat everything that u does, lamb, chiickens, cows fishes etc

Tom: As long as it is halal sloughtered rite? seashells?

Me: yeah, we can eat those, in general, we cant eat pork and for drink we cannot drink alcohol, and thats all

Tom: wat really? U never had a single sip of alcohol ur entire life?

Me: nope never

Tom: Wow, no wonder some muslims are rich, u guys never spend ur money on alcohol (kidding sound). I might even need to change my religion to islam so that i can cut the money i spend on alcohol. After that i might even own a farm!

*Then we both laugh*

Me (dalam hati): Tom how i really wish u will become muslim, hidayah ya Allah
